Our Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day was great. It was nice and relaxed and ended great. We spent the morning just hanging out at home. After nap time we headed over to our friends house where the following events took place:

First we HAD to check out dinner in the oven.
The kids were so excited to see our friends and have SPACE to run around in. Their shoes came off and the ran circles around the kitchen, dining room and living room with loud squeals of delight. (This condo keeps up TIGHTLY cramped up!) Then Kayla had to take a break on the futon.

Caden has a shoe fetish. With everyone and anyone's shoes. First he looked at me waiting for me tell him it was ok to try on Ms. Jessica's shoes. Then he proceeded to someone's crocs.

It didnt take long for dinner to be ready! I got Cadens plate together but he barely ate anything. He has his right bottom side 2 year molar giving him a hard time.

Ms Jessica got Kayla's plate together but she was too focused on all the excitement that she barely ate. However, the kids are enjoying leftover ham for breakfast lately.

My plate!

Hanging out.

Jessica and Dustin got gifts for the kids. Caden is watching Kayla open her first one to make sure its ok that he open his.

Excited Kayla, opening up a brand new pair of shoes in size TEN!

She loved them. They went on her feet and she didnt take them off at all until we got home.

Caden ripping into another gift. He got some nice long sleeve shirts, pants and some socks from Jessica and Dustin to prepare him a little for our big move to New Mexico where it will be cold!

Kayla moving onto another gift.

FLATSCREEN LIGHT BRIGHT!

Caden got a Toy Story 3 chair! The look on his face when he realized what this was, was hilarious!
Perfect gift for him!

After the kids opened presents we gave Jessica her home made gifts from us and their very first Scentsy item. Yes....I have showered them with my passion for Scentsy. HA! We got them the Fireman warmer and 2 bars.
(Hope you guys love it! We sure did think it was cute!)

Kayla playing Wipeout! Her first video game ever!
It took some serious concentration!

And Caden thinking he was playing.
Not long after this it was time for us to go. All the excitement and food made the kids tired really early. 6 pm they were showing signs of their tanks being on empty. They wouldn't even eat any apple pie or cherry cheesecake. Which was DELISH! And yes, I had a small slither of a piece of each. It was worth each small bite.

Thank you Jessica and Dustin for having us over and sharing Thanksgiving dinner with us. You are great friends and one of the few that our kids really take to. They love you!
