Bear Tree Park

Today's adventure was to Bear Tree Park! We went with our friend Laura. We know her from Guam and she's leaving Korea in a couple days. Was so fun! 

A park of bears, and trees! But first feeding the fish! 

And then the bears. Baby bears and big bears and you can feed them!

On the way back home Dad found us a place for dinner. It was so good. It pizza/pasta place that also specialized in pork cutlets.

Mom and Kayla date

Last night mom and Kayla went to dinner alone together. It's the first time that has happened since Guam, 3 years old. We went to a sushi place near the condo we stayed at. Caden stayed home with dad. Last night dad took Carly and Caden to a place on base right across from the officers club, where Kayla and I had dinner. 

We had Korean food! It was called bibimbap. Amazing. Fresh. Light. Healthy. 

I love it. I love how heathly Koreans eat. Ground beef, white steamed rice and loaded with different fresh veggies. Lettuce, carrot, cucumber, bean sprouts, etc. you also can add in different kimchi. I has cucumber and radish, my 2 favs. Top with a dab of chili paste. Mix up the bowl and top with fried egg. I love it.

Kayla did too! We even had chocolate ice with sprinkles and chocolate on top made by Kayla herself. 

It was fun. Way long over due and I need to make it a point to spend this alone time with each of the 3 more often. I feel bad it's been so long since she's been alone with her own mom.

Household items gone!

Im so behind but will get caught up once things calm down. So last Thursday our house was packed up! The next day on Friday it was all loaded up on a truck into big wood crates and hauled away! This is always a surreal moment. No matter if it's your first pcs move or your 7th pcs move. It's the moment your home becomes an empty house! Caden was pretty sick this day. His cough the day before caught up with him and his energy was low. At first he didn't want to be alone in the house while we were outside in the driveway watching the guys load the truck. He warmed up, and just Kate's around watching movies. Glad he didn't go to. School the day prior. 

After Kayla got home from school, she went to her friends house to hang out so the other 2 kids and mom and dad went downtown to The Mirage for some California pizza kitchen and a short walk. 

I couldn't get enough of these fresh tomatoes! 

Dad's pizza was bacon and pepperoni. 

I had veggie and goat cheese. Amazing. 

Then we went out for a short walk and a peek at the volcano.
