We took the kids to the mall for a train ride and Christmas light show. Ever since, every single day Caden reminds me he went on a train ride and it made him happy.
We also found a birthday present for Mimi.
I searched and searched the Swarovski store and nothing was standing out to me. On the way out the door I found THE ONE. Cant wait to send it to her soon!
Since we celebrated our Christmas on 14 December, we didn't have much to do on the real Christmas Day. We spent the day at the beach, had naps and then went downtown to the Guam USO for a free Christmas dinner buffet. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and it was beyond what I could have had imagined. We would have stayed for a visit from the big guy, Santa, but it was so crowded...we barely even managed to find a seat. It was great though and we are thankful it was offered, otherwise we would have had Chinese for dinner. ha! With no oven or real stove top here, I couldn't have made a nice dinner.

(swollen eye from a chicken pox episode we been going through. At least the over the phone consultation resuluted in the doctor calling it chicken pox but I think it was some type of poison from a plant. I ended up getting it all over my legs!)
