So, today = 25 days left on this island. Time is going so fast, yet so slow.
We have our hotel booked for our last 5 days on island.
Here:
This is the same place that holds the USO center where we had our Christmas Dinner. This is great so if we get bored we always have this place in the same building. We also still get a pool, plus this place appears to have a hot tub, and gym and is still within walking distance of the beach. Its not right on top of the beach like here, but its ok because the other amenities make up for it.
PLUS, the cat is allowed. Legally.
Unlike here. (Shhh!) For an extra $100 charge upon check out for cleaning service plus $10 per night, he is allowed to be with us. Its pain here being sneaky about it.
Anyhow, a few days before the new year during our drive around the island we stopped here.
This would be the Mom carrying a 50% Hickey Farms box of meat and cheese for the kids to snack on during our stop.
Caden is getting taller and thinner. His shirts are slowly becoming belly shirts and his shorts are falling off of him. But this Mom refuses to buy new clothes with only 25 days left here of hot weather.
This is a cemetery we drive by often. How peaceful would it be to be buried next to the ocean? But then, what if a tsunami came and washed all the bodies out? Hmm. Regardless, it looks nice.
Bear Rock
And yes, a Christmas Tree decorated with Bud Light cans. I dont know why this is a popular thing to do on this island. This place can be so trashy.
And of course, how else do we the end day?
By getting our tan on for Vegas.
The Dad who scored a 100 on his PT test yesterday!!

Thank you for these pictures. My grandfather served on Guam during WWII.
Is there anything you will miss about Guam?
Before you mentioned it, I was going to add that your boy is looker taller and skinnier. I read your mind. Or, you read mine. Either way, we think alike!
m.
I am going to have to go visit Guam one of these days after looking at all of your pics. I don't have much desire to live on an island but would love to visit.
I am counting down the days til I get to Vegas too! Though mine is farther out than yours :-( Not til March.
Why did u keep one cat with you but send the other one on such a long plane trip back to the States?? Wouldn't it have made sense to keep both or none??
