This blog is now 100% fully private! This means that only those of you who have sent me your emails have been invited to read my blog. Thank you so much to all of those who can see this and read this blog. Thank you for nothing but love and support of our family over so that past years. Some of you are considered my very best friends even though we have never met in person!
We had some major problems recently with Kayla and Caden's birth mother, and I had to make sure that she or any of her family members in no way, shape, or form had access to any of our lives details or photos. I'll go into details later on. But, I am now very happy to get back to blogging life. I love having our lives documented, and turned into books for our children to read when they are much older. I hope that some day they can look back at all the details, at all the awesome adventures that our lives have taken us on! And soon adventures in life will be in South Korea!

Catching up on October 2013
Whew. Life has been crazy. Trying to catch up on the blog while getting more and more behind.
If you know me in person, you already know we are moving. If you know me though blog reading only...Yes, we are moving. Back in August while we were at our daughters 1st grade meet your teacher conference, an email comes through to my husband saying "Congratulations on your new assignment." We didn't apply or expect for a new assignment so our hearts were definitely racing. We rushed out of there and rushed home for him to check his government email and we were notified of a new assignment to Osan Air Force Base, South Korea. SHOCK. Utter shock. It took months for this shock to wear off. We built this house expecting to stay put for a long time. Oh the military life. Thank goodness we are extremely spontaneous and adventurous people.
So, before any more details are spilled on this move....this and last week has been filled with paper work and driving all over town. Between the cat's 2 appointments to get his health certificate (which will have within 10 days of arriving to Osan) plus dental paperwork for myself and kids and school clearances for 2 kids....which need to be re-done because the papers that printed out were old forms. Yay. Fun.
Anyways, trying to get caught up here...I now need to catch up on October 2013!
It was a pretty uneventful month.

Carly has he first Halloween experience.
She also turned 7 months old.
Healthy baby.
More Halloween fun!
First adventures with hay.
Carly was taking off in the walker like a pro! She started walking in it at only 5 months old.
Kayla was doing and progressing fantastic in Kindergarten.
We discovered having picnics in the living room at Mama's fav place to get taco salads, and free kids meals.

Catching up on September 2013
September 2013 was pretty uneventful. Kayla was falling into Kindergarten very well, she took it easier than I did. She was student of the week already this month. She had to bring her favorite stuffed animal and wear her favorite outfit for one of the days.
It was also September 11th, patriot day. A day I'll never forget. Sr in High School in Science class, our first class of the day.
Carly turned 6 months old, and just like each of the other 2 children, we celebrated her half birthday with her first cupcake and a gift.
Dad found out he didn't break his wrist, but he broke his arm instead.
Carly and Caden were taking advantage of the time Kayla was now in school and bonding with each other. It was a good break for Mom once she got used to the idea of Kayla being gone 5 days a week, 2.5 hours a day.
Dada also flew back to PA to be there for his Father's neck surgery and got to see his sister and her kids as well as his brother.

Yesterday's continuation of August 2013
In addition to the milestones I posted about yesterday, in August 2013 before the school year started we made a 4 night trip to San Diego California. Sea World honors Military families with once a year free tickets, so we like to take advantage of this each year.
It was Kayla and Caden's 2nd visit, and Carly's first visit outside of the womb.
We surprised the kids with not telling them until the last second and we also left a day earlier than planned.
Seeing the whales is a must. Amazing amazing animals.
Besides the whales, petting the sting rays must have been the next favorite thing to do. So soft and gentle and how they just glide through the water is amazing.
I could show probably 200 pictures from sea world, so instead of that I will also share the other fun places and things we did on this trip.
We went to the gas lamp district for dinner and decided on Whiskey Girl. Kayla loved it. (We now eat there each time we visit SD) She loves their potato skins.
After dinner we went to the Gherideli chocolate shop for some ice cream.
Our last day there we discovered Seaport Village. (And we now visit there each time we are in SD as well)
We also checked out the USS Midway. They also honor military active duty members with a free ticket.
While in SD, Carly turned 5 months old.
The kids each got to pick out 1 toy from The Disney Store.
We ate the best Mexican food ever in Old Town. (Which we also now visit each time we go to SD)
After eating Mexican food in Old Town we visit the old fashioned candy store. They have the best taffy ever!
This trip was a blast. We did so much and I could share so many more pictures. We stayed in a hotel overlooking the bay. We watched helicopters and ships for days. We could leave the balcony doors open and feel the cool ocean breeze.
We left with this souvenir. The one and only thing we do not have here in Las Vegas, is ocean. Ocean is greatly missed by us all.

It's been too long!
Last time I made a blog entry Carly was 3 months old, and it was July 2013.
It is now January 2015 and she is near 22 months old. Kayla has a rather large book made from my blog starting back when we were trying to conceive up until she was a few months old. I ran into it a few weeks ago when packing up my closet. (Story on that coming soon) It was neat to see and I am glad she has that. I want the same for the other 2 babies. We have so many changes happening now, and so many adventures coming up to document so I thought now is a good time to start. I am back tracking now, putting the year 2011 into a book to print. It was our last year on Guam. I am so behind! I guess I will back track here with monthly milestones until I get up to date with the present time. So much has happened in the last year and half! The only way I know where and how to begin is just one month at a time! Last blog entry Carly was 3 months old, Kayla was just about to turn 5 and Caden was 3. They are now, almost 22 months, almost 5 years and Kayla 6 and half years old. Crazy how time flies. So here it begins, month by month events, until I get caught up.
In August of 2013, Our birth mother gave birth to her 4th and final baby. A baby boy with her now fiance.
Carly's appearance was changing so fast and looked just like her Mama!

Kayla started Kindergarten.
Carly turned 5 months old.
Carly also got her ears pierced.
Mom and Kayla made home made sushi rolls for the first time.
Mom continued on her weight loss journey post baby. This time was very discouraging. I was stuck in the 150's for a while it seemed.
Carly's appearance was changing so fast and looked just like her Mama!
Carly's first time seeing the aquarium at The Silverton hotel and casino.
Dad broke his wrist at work.
Before school started, we visited San Diego, CA as well this month. That post will be next!

Blog return?
Testing Testing!
I have not made one blog entry since June 2013!!! With so many changes since then, and so many changes coming up...I'm starting to rethink about blogging again. I also thought of deleting the blog. But I would love all our past and future adventures documented for our kiddos.
