Dada surprised us Friday by taking a day of leave from work. He then took us on a surprise family day out to Hwaseong fortress. It was started to be built in 1794! Kids had a blast. Dad shot bow and arrows. 
After the fortress visit we went to the kings living quarters from when he was in Suwon.
The kids all made a wish and dad tied it to the rope near the tree that is said to have the kings spirit still in it.
