Beach and 30 day photo challenge

We haven't been up to much lately. This move is coming up really fast. We have been just passing the time at the beach. Surprise there huh?
Today:
2 days left before my treadmill goes. We are selling it to a friend and upgrading once we move into a house.
4 days left at the Aurora.
9 days left on Guam.
12 days until Caden's 2nd birthday.

Caden and our fishing buddy we see every morning at the beach.

Me watching the kids.

Some new friends at the beach.

They made a new friend. A Japanese boy..who gave them his beach ball as a 'present'.

Caden kept losing his beach ball so I had to go out in the water to chase it down.

Fishing buddies catch.

Some more attention and love from the Japanese.

We had a fishy in a bottle. Actually, we had 3 fish in a bottle. We kept losing them.

Yes, more attention from the Japanese. It never fails.

Some guy digging for crabs.

This is my view while sun bathing and watching the kids.

Kayla playing with Japanese girls. They played for about an hour together.
Going to the beach is like FREE babysitting. HA!

Caden's turn!

Taking a picture of Caden before they leave.

Also, to occupy my time, I started a 30 day photo challenge.
Photo one:
I missed the weekend due to either being busy, or lazy. So Monday continues photo two:

My closet in the hotel here.
Tomorrow I will continue with day 3, what I am reading.

11 days! Bye Bye 554!

11 days and counting down!  We had Nick's going away party at the beach down the street last Friday.

Waiting for everyone to arrive.

Yummy food. Hot wings, chicken sticks, ribs and summer rolls.

The  Beach Bar- one of our favorite places to go to on Guam.

Yay 554!

A little game of volleyball before the going away speeches and gifts. (With my two little watchers!)

Watching Dada in the green t shirt hitting the ball!

Playing together.

Caden playing football with Kayla.

Caden HAD to had his shirt off as soon as he saw Dada take his off...
(This picture by the way I had blown up to a 20x30 and it will go in his new room which will be football theme. I cant wait)

Kayla getting sleepy (party was during nap time) collecting rocks.

Dad receiving his machete.

The Dad receiving his plaque. Which reads:

Having resided for the past 47 months and 11 days in the 554th stable and having assimilated the knowledge that it is the best of all horse stables weather you believe it or not, and having demonstrated proficiency before juries composed of heavy needers of the deeds of the horse, lifetime member. "GREY BEARD'

Are we done yet?

Teens

Excuse the absence. Caden has been sick for a few days. I thought it was from teeth. Turns out it wasnt. Kayla and I are on day 2 of feeling terrible. Sore throat, sinus pressure in the head, stuffy/runny nose, sneezing. Oh what fun it is. Not.
Besides that, we are on day 4 of rainy, gloomy, dark, dreary tropical weather. It really puts a damper on the day. Since all our household items are gone, it doesn't leave us much to do since we cant go outdoors.

Today marks only 19 days until we leave island for good. Now that we are down in the teens, its starting to feel more real. As much as we are beyond ready to leave here and start new adventures in the next phase of life, it is also sad. We will be leaving so many memories behind. So many firsts. The only home our children know. A lot has happened in life on this little island that has been home for 4 years.

14 more days in this condo. 19 more days until we are on the plane to Las Vegas.

Here are some random pictures of us out and about enjoying ourselves. Tonight: One of the babies favorite places for dinner: California Pizza Kitchen. It's free kids night. Cant beat that. They BOTH get a free meal.

Dad and Kayla walking around our hotel.

Rain clouds coming in, view from our balcony.

Our beach.

Kayla running down the beach. We walk down the beach to Mcdonalds for the kids sometimes and then walk back up the main strip along the shopping areas. Its fun!

Caden with a wet armpit sleeve, not sweat my friends...water from the ocean..we walked down the beach, through the mall and then up the main shopping strip to McDonalds for the kids for dinner.

Kayla  got a Teddy Bear balloon made by this TGI Friday's guy:

And then Caden got a sword.
