Of course we started out by stalking, I mean checking on our house. And since it was Saturday, there were no construction workers there working, so....

After that we stopped at Denny's for breakfast for Mimi and lunch for the rest of us.
(cell phone pictures here)
I actually got the best salad ever. All it had was greens, grilled chicken, cranberries, apple slices ( most of which got stolen by toddler fingers) and balsamic vinegar. It was so good!
After brunch then Mimi had some spare time to play.
When it was time for Mimi and Papa to leave it was so sad. Kayla had a melt down like I have never seen.
I am very very luck in that she has never really through a REAL temper tantrum, but this was a temper tantrum mixed with exhaustion and a broken heart.
Within seconds of Mimi being out of our house she was passed out, like this on the couch.
And ever since, EVERYTHING is about Mimi and Papa.
But this Mama doesn't mind.
This Mama knows how short life is and how special great memories of Grandparents are.
